Our
partners
Blåbær Production has built a strong network of partners nationally and internationally over the years. These relationships are based on shared values of quality, sustainability, and ethical business.
Ethical Trade Norway
As a member of Ethical Trade Norway, we actively promote fair labor conditions and environmental responsibility throughout the supply chain. Ethical Trade Norway provides professional support and practical tools, and facilitates training and collaborative networks that offer valuable insights, knowledge exchange and also inspiration from other members companies.
RISE Chemical Group
Since 2015, Blåbær Production has been a member of RISE’s Chemical Group, giving us access to Europe’s leading expertise in chemical safety, knowledge development, and networking. The Chemical Group provides updated, high-quality tools that help us work preventively to reduce and replace harmful substances in our production.
We have signed the “No to PFAS” commitment and are part of ChemSec’s international initiative to phase out “forever chemicals” from the textile industry – a vital step for health and the environment.
Amfori
As a member of Amfori, we are committed to improving social and environmental conditions throughout our supply chain. We adhere to strict standards related to wages, working hours, occupational safety, child labor, and environmental impact. These conditions are regularly assessed through third-party audits, and we support our producers in continuous improvement processes. We actively request and follow up on audits conducted through both the BSCI and BEPI platforms.
Blåbær Production is a proud partner in the EU-funded research project BioSusTex, which aims to develop innovative technologies to make the textile value chain more sustainable and circular. Focus areas include improved recycling of cellulose-based textiles, the development of bio-based and PFAS-free water-repellent coatings, and the replacement of harmful chemicals in textile printing. The project is aligned with the EU Commission’s Safe and Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) framework for responsible innovation. Together with 12 other partners from 7 countries, we are working to drive innovation and sustainability in the textile sector.
