Blåbær Production has made a deliberate decision to make due diligence a natural and integral part of our daily operations. Although we are not legally required by the Transparency Act, we choose to report voluntarily as we believe it lays the foundation for safe and trustworthy collaboration throughout the supply chain. We place great emphasis on selecting textiles and raw materials that are durable and safe, and we work systematically toward more sustainable solutions. Organic, recycled, and certified materials with transparent origins are central to our production. Our goal is to create long-lasting products with high functionality, prioritizing solutions that provide the end-user with a safe and traceable product.
Blåbær Production continuously works to stay ahead of current regulations and industry standards, taking preventive measures even in areas where regulations have not yet been implemented. We tailor instructions, requirements, and informative tools for each of our partner factories, adapted to their specific operations and production. To ensure compliance, a wide range of lab tests are conducted on both materials and finished goods before they are shipped.
Our goal is to reduce environmental impact at every stage of our value chain - from raw materials to final product. We actively promote circular and climate-conscious production and logistics. Our work is guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals and we have implemented sustainability policy that informs our decisions and priorities. Our climate accounting started 2022.
We believe a responsible and inclusive work environment is essential for quality production. Everyone involved in our supply chain must have safe, fair, and healthy working conditions. We have a dedicated Code of Conduct that all partners are required to sign, and we carry out ongoing follow-ups to ensure standards are upheld.
Our production takes place in Asia and partly in Europe. We visit our factories regularly and choose to work only with those who meet our minimum standards, are subject to third-party audits, and demonstrate transparency and a willingness to improve. Our direct relationships with manufacturers strengthen our ability to influence production processes and ensure quality and ethic standards at every level.
Animal welfare is an integral part of our corporate responsibility. We set clear requirements for suppliers using animal-based materials and promote ethical production practices throughout the supply chain. Our products are designed not only for functionality and aesthetics, but also to reflect care for nature and all living beings.
